These five boys from Vienna were fed up with bands sounding like Beach Boys‘ Brian Wilson was kidnapped and forced to produce an album with a guitar from Tesco and a broken tape recorder.

For their 2nd album “IN THE WOODS“ no efforts were spared with the band maltreating themselves and their slim piggybanks making the production anything but a walk in the park.
Their enthusiastically received shows at Berlin’s Popkomm, the European newcomer festival Eurosonic and the prestigious Primavera Sound in Barcelona finally proved it was worth all the trouble, leaving behind plenty of smiling faces and charmed ears.

The hymnic chorus of radiosingle AMNESIACS keeps insisting “It’s gonna be a great great deal for all of us“ and indeed the band drew attention hardly known to bands from Austria. After their rather playful debut their 2nd coming is delivering densly woven indie-pop, with more bombast and integrity.
Obsessed with all details of arrangement and production FRANCIS INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT became skillfull studio-geeks still preserving their love for catchy tunes with melancholic ambience, cunningly utilising the former to achieve the latter.
